Finishes Touches

Mike Thieke, Murray State University Athletic Facilities coordinator, places signs on the gates at MSU's Stewart Stadium Friday afternoon while making final preparations for today's Homecoming game with the Eastern Illinois Panthers. The signs urge the crowd to protect the new stadium turf. Multi-colored tents that are used for “Tent City” can be seen in the background. Homecoming pre-game festivities, including the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen, begin at 2:30 p.m. Game time is set to begin at 3 p.m.
