Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of a 35-year-old Murray man who was found unresponsive at Calloway County Jail Tuesday night, but results on the cause of death may have to wait until after the Christmas holiday.
James Bradley Allen was brought into the jail at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and incarcerated. However he was later found unresponsive by jail authorities during a cell check.
“It happened a little before 10 p.m.,” Calloway County Jailer Phil Hazle said. “We called the state police and the coroner and they're doing an investigation.”
