Gov. Beshear's MSU lecture shown on KET

A special 30-minute program titled “From the Campus of Murray State University” will be broadcast over multiple Kentucky Educational Television stations beginning today and running through May 10.

The program was produced and directed by MSU Broadcast Media Services and features the 2008 Harry Lee Waterfield Lecture Series held at the MSU Curris Center last month when Gov. Steve Beshear presented the keynote address at this year's event.

Mark Welch, program director for WKMS, serves as announcer for the program.

Harry Lee Waterfield was a native of Calloway County and a 1932 graduate of Murray State University. He compiled an outstanding career in politics and public affairs that included six terms in the Kentucky House of Representatives, two terms as Kentucky lieutenant governor, and eight years as president of the State Senate and chair of the Legislative Research Commission.
