Murrayan charged with elder abuse

A Murray man was arrested on charges of elder abuse Monday afternoon after the Murray Police Department investigated complaints from the victim.
According to a Murray Police Department press release, William Gordon, 34, was the live-in caregiver for his grandmother, Charlotte Barker, 78, of Murray.
The investigation revealed that Barker's movements in her home were restricted by her grandson.
Gordon was lodged in the Calloway County Jail and was released Tuesday after posting 10 percent of his bond.
