Graves man critical after morning assault

A Hickory, Ky., man remains in critical condition this morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an assault at Murray's Campus Suites apartments on North 16th Street.
According to Murray Police Sgt. Tracy Guge, Ben Reans, 20, and Kyle Sullivan, 24, of Mayfield, were assaulted around 3:45 a.m. by four black males who are now being sought by police.
Reans was taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital emergency room for treatment of a head injury, but was later transported to Vanderbilt.
Sullivan suffered an injury to his face, according to the report.
The incident remains under investigation by MPD.
