Suspect arrested in triple murder
CADIZ, Ky. (AP) _ (AP) - Police arrested a suspect Saturday in the deaths of two teenage girls and their younger brother, whose bodies were discovered after authorities responded to a house fire in rural Kentucky.
State police spokesman Dean Patterson said 35-year-old Kevin Dunlap of Hopkinsville was charged Saturday with multiple counts of capital murder and capital kidnapping as well as one count of rape, one count of attempted murder, burglary and three counts of tampering with evidence.
Those slain were Kayla Williams, 17, Kortney Frensley, 14, and Ethan Frensley, 5. The children's mother, Kristy Frensley, 36, was injured but survived.
Patterson wouldn't disclose where she is being treated but said she was able to provide authorities with information and her condition is improving.
Police would not say who they believe was raped.
