Volunteers served up good food such as turkey, dressing, corn, green beans, rolls and dessert to hungry patrons Thursday at the Weaks Center for the annual Community Thanksgiving. Numerous individuals donated their time in the spirit of service and fellowship, while area churches, the Calloway County Salvation Army and businesses such as Butcher's Block provided food items. The Rev. Rose Bogal-Allbritten with St. John's Episcopal Church estimated 300 people would be served through the community feast, which included deliveries.
