Various churches have released information concerning their worship services for the coming weekend as follows:

Bethel United Methodist: The Rev. Robert McKinney will speak at the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Sunday school is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday night Bible study and classes for all ages, with a meal, is at 6 p.m.

First Christian: The Rev. Dr. Ruth Ragovin will speak at the 10:30 a.m. worship service on “Let Freedom Ring!” with scripture from Exodus 14:8-31. Worship & Wonder, a Montessori-based worship experience for children 3 through fourth grade, is offered at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. For a ride to the church, call 270-753-3824.

Goshen United Methodist: Pastor April Arnold will speak at 9 a.m. worship service on “Many Gifts, One Spirit,” with scripture from Galatians 2:15-21.

Hazel Baptist: Pastor Jordan Roach will speak at the 10:30 a.m. with special music presented by Kevin Crawford. The 6 p.m. service will be the Fifth Sunday Singing Night. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Kirksey United Methodist: Pastor April Arnold will speak at the 11 a.m. worship service on “Many Gifts, One Spirit,” with scripture from Galatians 2:15-21.

Hymn sing to be at FBC

First Baptist Church will host a church-wide hymn sing from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, June 30, in the sanctuary of the church. The public is invited to attend.

Event to be held at St. John

St. John Missionary Baptist Church will host a Praise and Paint by Different Strokes event at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13. Refreshments, paint and canvas are provided at a cost of $20 per person. RSVP to Tomeka Kendrick at 270-839-6893 or email tkendrick@jsmc.org.

Casual Sunday at Russell Chapel

Russell Chapel United Methodist Church will host its “Casual Sunday Service” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 30. Coffee, juice and milk will be served before and during the service. Weather permitting, the service will be held outdoors. The church is at 229 Rowlett Trail with Ronnie Burkeen as the pastor.
