Main Street Youth to host holiday party

The Main Street Youth Center will sponsor its fifth annual Christmas Celebration at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. CCRTA to meet Monday

The Calloway County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at the Murray Woman’s Clubhouse. The speaker will be Tom Abrams, executive director of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association.

Plan To Be Tobacco Free to be presented

The Murray Star Chapter No. 433 Order of the Eastern Star will meet Tuesday, Dec. 11. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow at 7 p.m. 

MCC Senior Center to sponsor meal

The Murray-Calloway County Senior Citizens Center is sponsoring a chicken and dressing fundraiser on Wednesday, Dec. 12. The menu is chicken and dressing, green beans, sweet potato casserole and cheesecake for $6. Orders must be picked up by noon Tuesday, Dec. 11. Need Line is needing boxed stuffing mix and canned sweet potatoes for its Christmas Food Boxes. Items can be dropped off at the Need Line Office at 509 N. Eighth St.

Soup for the Soul serves weeknights
