FFA takes plants program on road

The Calloway County High School FFA program has been known for a strong horticulture program for many years and occasionally it will take its products away from the campus’ greenhouse to offer to the general public. That was the case a few weeks ago as the FFA’s plants and flowers were the subject of a sale that was hosted at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.  Calloway teacher Jacob Falwell, who helps advise the FFA, said the sale raised more than $1,100. Pictured is Calloway student Kaylee Fain, who helped with selling the plants and flowers that were offered.
