WASHINGTON – Grace Sink, a Cadiz, Kentucky native, recently completed the Murray State University Congressman James Comer Congressional Agriculture Fellowship Program in the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. office. Grace is a Junior at Murray State, majoring in Agriculture Education. She worked alongside Congressman Comer and his staff in his Washington office as an Agriculture Fellow.
“I am very thankful to Congressman Comer and the Hutson School of Agriculture for providing me with this once in a lifetime opportunity. Congressman Comer views Murray State University as a vital institution of agriculture education to not only the 1st district, but all of Kentucky. I am proud to have had the opportunity to represent Murray State in Washington, and I’m proud of my time here helping the people of the 1st district,” said Sink.
“I want to personally thank Grace for all of her hard work to assist the residents of the 1st District on a daily basis. From conducting research or helping constituents, Grace’s strong work ethic and passion for agriculture and education were on display every day. I wish Grace the best of luck in the future,” Congressman Comer said.
