A Murray tradition
- HAWKINS TEAGUE / Ledger & Times

As is the case the first day of every March, dozens of Murray residents came to Dairy Queen for the spring opening on Tuesday. With the business having started car-side service during the pandemic, there wasn’t a line of people on the sidewalk as there used to be in years past, but the parking lot was full and several groups enjoyed the beautiful weather at picnic tables. Stevie Stout watches as her sons, 5-year-old Jackson, left, and 8-year-old HayJ, enjoy their treats with friend Emilia Dunlap, also 8. Jackson and HayJ’s father is Logan Stout, and Emilia is the daughter of Zach and Lauren Dunlap.
