Eric Gibson, owner of Murray’s Gibson Truck Lines, rolls a pair of semi-truck tires toward the back of one of two semi trailers that transported about 200 tires last Thursday to the Calloway County Road Department for the waste tire collection event the department held for three days. Calloway County Waste Management Director Gidget Manning said the collection resulted in the donation of about 36,000 tires this year.
