WMHS receives gift from MES

During a special presentation during the monthly Cable Commission meeting at Murray’s City Hall representatives from Murray Electric Service, presented a $5,000 check from Murray Electric to Murray High’s WMHS TV 13 department. This funding is utilized to operate the WMHS TV 13 studio and operations to acquire, update equipment and to operate the station. Rosa said he and the students are very appreciative of the funding to continue supporting the WMHS TV 13 program.   “The Murray High School TV Media class is very grateful that Murray Electric and all stakeholders involved are so supportive of the students’ experiences throughout their high school careers.  Receiving funding from Murray Electric shows that our community really cares for our school systems and places high value on the learning experiences students receive,” Rosa said.
