Read Across America
During his recent visit to Calloway County, Kentucky Commissioner of Education Jason Glass took a few minutes to read to Amy Amberg's kindergarten class at Southwest Calloway Elementary School for Read Across America Week. Kentucky Board of Education member Holly Bloodworth chose the Kevin Henkes book "Chrysanthemum" for Glass to read, and he said it was also his wife's favorite book to read to children.
