Yoder gives balloons to BHP patients

Monica Yoder, who now resides near New Providence, became a patient earlier this year at Baptist Health Paducah after attempting to save a pony that had fallen into a frozen pond where she used to live near Farmington. Yoder was at BHP for several days due to a life-threatening infection she developed. When she began recovering, she found that many well wishers had left her with these balloons. In the days leading to her release, though, Yoder said that she decided she did not need them as much as other patients and began distributing them to patients on her floor as a way of trying to make them feel better. Yoder is still recovering at home from the effects of an infection.
