1 death reported in Monday wreck

A two-vehicle wreck Monday morning claimed the life of a Dexter man. Calloway County Coroner Ricky Garland identified the victim as Jerry B. Lassiter, 73, of Dexter. Details of the wreck itself were still scarce at press time Monday, but City of Murray Police Chief Jeff Liles did say that much of that information was pending the result of an accident reconstruction that was being performed throughout the afternoon. The wreck occurred at the intersection of Robertson Road and KY 94 West, at the city limits. Multiple people were observed being taken from the scene in ambulances.Â
