Water work
- JOHN WRIGHT/Ledger & Times

C.J. Horsely of City of Murray Public Works guides the bucket of a backhoe toward a hole that was created Thursday morning near the intersection of North Fourth and Pine streets after a water main break was reported. City of Murray Administrator Jim Osborne said Thursday afternoon that the problem was located, then repaired. Traffic had to be disrupted most of the day to allow workers to handle the job without interruption but Osborne said all barricades were removed by about 4 p.m. No customers had to have their water shut off as repairs were made, he said.
