MURRAY – A Murray man faces several drug charges after the Murray Police Department said a detective searched his home on Tuesday.
MPD spokesman Sgt. Andrew Wiggins said that at 1 p.m. Tuesday, a detective with the Murray Police Department was on Sycamore Street investigating a case. While conducting the investigation, a search of the residence resulted in seizing methamphetamine, approximately one pound of marijuana, other narcotics and other illegal items. As a result, Chris King, 34, of Murray, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. King was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
