Murray Police Department investigates late night shooting

According MPD, officers responded at 12:28 a.m. Sunday to a shooting on North First Street. One individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of possible injuries, MPD said. Officers located suspects in the case, and MPD said Sunday that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

MPD said the case is still an active, open investigation, and asked anyone who might have any information to call MPD at 270-753-1621.
