'Somewhere in America'

Country music legend Trace Adkins put on a free concert in Mayfield Saturday as part of his "Somewhere in America" tour. Adkins told concert-goers, "We had the idea to come to Mayfield because Mayfield seems to epitomize spirit. You know, so many places in the last year or so that have been just hammered with bad weather and all kinds of misfortune; but we just thought you guys took such a hard hit, and you've shown such resilience that we wanted to come to Mayfield."
