VFW flag retirement all hands on deck

It took a smal army to properly fold this massive American flag to prepare it for retirement by fire Saturday afternoon during a ceremony hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6291/Herman Eddie Roberts Jr. Post at Chestnut Park in Murray. Post 6291 members, local Boy Scouts and spectators all participated in the folding of this flag that was later wrapped in brown paper and tossed into a burning cauldron, which is the proper way to dispose of American flags no longer able to serve their purpose.
